The program offered by the Center for American Law Studies is a one-year program designed for law students and law graduates. During the academic year 2025/26, the Center offers eight courses. The courses are specially designed and selected to give students and graduates the best understanding of the common law system and unique issues of the American legal system, and to introduce the legal issues and problems which may be the most common in the students’ future profession.
After successful completion of one-year course of study, students will receive 12 ECTS and will be awarded certificate of completion.
The top students of the Center will be offered summer clerkships in the law firms which are sponsors of the program and will be presented with „book awards”.
During the one-year program 8 courses are taught for two weeks and 1 course is taught for one week (five times a week for 1.5 hours). During the course of study, students are introduced to traditional and innovative teaching methods applied at American universities to insure a dynamic professional program.
